Just a warning/reminder that there are temporary traffic lights along Hawkhill Avenue so traffic could get quite busy.

Is there still roadworks at Duddingston Cross?

Roadworks at Duddingston crossroads, also Restalrig Avenue and Marionville Avenue. Smokey Brae closed to traffic, not sure if pedestrians are allowed through Smokey Brae, as it is a wall that is damaged near the bridge.

It should be nice and quiet given that most folk are watching on TV.

The one way system round Abbey Hill has been reverted back to the original two way system, so things might move a bit quicker up by Montrose Terrace.

Why was that changed in the first place, and why has it been changed back again? Anyone ken?

Because Leith Street was closed and the traffic diverted.

Has Carlton Terrace Brae linking Royal Terrace and the Abbeymount junction re-opened too?

Ever since I got a car I've just parked at Ingliston or Hermiston P&R. Much less hassle and it's barely any longer/more expensive.
