View Full Version : A - Z of Hibs

Your chance to name your favourite ever Hibs player in alphabetical order. I’ll go first starting with ‘A’.

I considered our keeper from the 60s Thomson Allan and our favourite recurring topic, Scott Allan but for the glamour he brought to the club and his goals against Hearts I’m going to choose...............

Steve Archibald.

Who’s next up with a ‘B’ ?

Has to be John Collins (the player, not the manager). Just edged it over Ralphie Callachan for me.

He may have played for Sevco, but he's still a Scottish Cup winner. The Cum Dog.

Edit: too late!

So we are up to letter X. Sadly there are none.
So, putting a slight twist on it, let’s go X-rated.
Only one winner imo - ROWAN VINE 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Before the Millennium Derby at Tinycastle he walked along the line of HIBS players in the tunnel telling each and every man exactly what was expected of them and that there was no way we were not winning that match :greengrin

Yanick Zambernardi should be Y and Z.

Not many players have a signature move named after them, and I can't watch a long diagonal punt being launched up the hill from the left-back area without thinking of Zambernardi (both Stevenson and Hanlon have been known to launch a nostalgic hoof from time to time).
