Top of League Two - hadn't realised that they were doing so well.

Anyone know what changed their fortunes this season.

James mcdonagh is there gaffer and has made great signings. Handling, Brad Donaldson and Andy Black, who All played for him in his under 20s hibs side, being three of them.

I went off them when they signed that creep Craig Thomson and made him captain. Some things aren't worth success on the field.

With all three teams going well it could come in a few times this season that bet.

Glad for the Citizens and they have obviously improved since I last saw them getting beaten by Arbroath at Meadowbank which was quite possibly the poorest league game I have ever seen (and after nearly 5 decades of regularly watching football thats saying something).

Quite a turnaround this year. Hoping to get along to Ainslie Park soon to take in a game. It's great to stand watching a game for a change.

Also with Hertz ourselves and Livvy in the top 3 of the premier league......for a day at least.
I wonder when the last time that happened for the Lothian region teams? Hibs/Hearts/Meadowbank or Hibs/Hearts/StBernard's perhaps :greengrin

Is Meadowbank being rebuilt or are they planning to use Ainslie long term?

It is being rebuilt (as a 500 seater stadium) however Edinburgh City are unable to play there as it won't comply to SPFL standards. I think the single turnstile is the issue. Stupid thinking by the council.

Hopefully there is a work around it for them , would be abit daft to miss out on their own home ground due to a rule like that.

Hadn't realised Danny was playing for them. According to Wiki, Danny only scored three times for Hibs - that's not right surely? Thought it was more than that....

Moved a few of the big earners off the wage bill which allowed them to spend a bit of cash on others like Danny, balatoni etc. Doing well and long may it continue

Surprised Josh Walker is at Edinburgh City.

Was a decent player for Aberdeen.

Chances are that I only saw one of those at most

I actually recall the one v Rangers now, I was on holiday in Turkey and was using up my data in the taxi on the airport transfer

Slightly off track but used to enjoy watching MeadowbankThistle when Hibs were playing away. Then I found out how much fun away days with Hibs were
