Sad to hear Chas ( of and Dave) has died.

He seemed a pretty decent guy and was a skilled musician

:agree:Respected by all their contemporaries such as Townshend and Clapton. Sorry the big man has gone.

Him and Dave found a niche and dominated it for years. He was more than just a cockney knees-up artist though.

Both of them have a decent history of music, great session players. I doubt the charts will see characters like that anymore.
