Free Agents

Not a panic post but surely we are in the market for a couple of free agents. Today highlighted we are light on numbers with Lewis Allan, who I thought was okay, came in from nowhere, Mackie, Murray and Shaw on the bench.

Whittaker does not fill me with confidence and we are desperately short up front. I’m keen to see Millgan and hopefully Kamberi is back soon.

Caulker was never a stand out for Dundee so he’s not someone I’d be targeting.

Ray Wilkins was an ex England international when we signed him.

Caulker was never a stand out for Dundee so he’s not someone I’d be targeting.

You could say the same about Scott Allan at Dens.

All of it. Good European adventure this year in Faroes, Greece and Norway, shown resiliance against the likes of Aberdeen. Today was pish, granted but have a word with yourself.

Shown resilience against Aberdeen? Is that a highlight of our season so far? We should be beating Aberdeen at home not just being resilient against them.
We have lost one gane this season and suddenly it's Armageddon on here.

Can’t agree we are light on numbers. Add in players injured we have 23 in squad. You need to have a route for development players to get into first squad. If not should shut down the academy. The question is why Lenny had built an unbalanced squad. We lack height and physicality and it showed today.

Am I the only one that wants us to sign players who are excellent in their chosen position without having to worry too much about how they play elsewhere?

We need midfielders who can play well in midfield for Hibs - not at centre-back for Australia or right-back for Rangers in Europe 10 years ago.

looking at the team this year we seem to be playing round players in square holes ... trying to put the best 11 players on the park but not necessarily in their best positions
