Somewhere in the top 5.

The top 5 is absolutely nailed on this year IMO, it’s just about what order we’ll be in.

Expected us to do something this week and disappointed we didn’t. But to be positive, if we get a win we’ll be a point better off than we were after 4 games last year and still be unbeaten.

Did we finish 5th on goal difference, by a few goals behind the top 4? Who beat us in the SCF? Did we win the LC?

They get to watch Hibs at home for a whole season with a guaranteed seat, discounted home cup tickets, discounted hospitality. Probably a few more things as well.

4th or 5th for me. Celtic and The Rangers will be top two. Hearts, the Dandies and us the next three but I think we will struggle because we are short up top. Flo will need a few games to get back firing and MacLaren despite last week's goal looks a good bit away. By the time they are up and running Hearts might be another few points ahead. It will be fascinating to see if Flo and MacLaren will be as good together without the fairy dust that is Scott Allen. If they don't click again we might struggle to get top 5

The majority of the supporters currently signed up will probably continue wanting to support the team. For the ones who need an incentive, the fact that the club is being run the best it has been in a generation will probably contribute something.

Teams I think will be above us in January

Celtic, Rangers, Hearts

Too tight to call

Aberdeen Kilmarnock

Would be disappointed if we are below any of the rest..

Dark horse prediction: Motherwell

January transfer window will be interesting, the squad may be more settled and used to each other, so would like to think we are still fighting for 3rd by the end.

Think we'll be alright up until January - it will be around then we'll start to collapse if we don't make more signings. Maclaren and Milligan away in the Asia Cup, and injuries to our lightweight squad will take its toll if we don't.

I'll go with 4th. Be a decent battle between ourselves Hearts and Aberdeen for third spot. I'm afraid my crystal says we'll be a long way behind Rangers and Celtic and Rangers will take Celtic very close this season.

Compared to the team we started with last season we have the same defence, a weaker midfield but a much stronger attack. 4th or 3rd.

5th or 6th.

Lower if we're unlucky with injuries, higher if we keep everyone fit and get on a roll.

We're going to need to have certain key figures fit to get anything out the derbies though. If we go into them with some of the lightweight stuff we've gone into recent games with, we'll be annihilated. Nothing that McGregor, Bartley, Milligan and Kamberi can't handle though.

It’s not the same defence, they are a year older which in McGregor’s case may be important. Porteous coming in will help if lives up to expectations.

7th. We have a more than decent first 11 but are overloaded in the attacking midfield positions and any injuries or suspensions in any other position and I think we will be in a bit of bother. The squad depth and balance is just not there.

Hoping we can get a fully fit squad with no injuries and work permit issues for a few games so Lennon can pick a settled team.

If we can stay mostly injury free we should be good most weeks at home and away games won't be easy. The test will be in October and December.

I think we should just apply to the league that we’ll offer to go straight down to the championship without playing a game.

All because we never signed the messiah called Scott Allan. Leanne should publicly be lynched for not bowing down to his wage demands and her board of directors should be sent for a dip in shark infested waters.

Our absolutely terrible transfer window has caused us to become no more than an amateur team and Lennon has already started taking sessions that involve players taking their shorts down in preparation for Hearts big boys arriving at Halloween.

It’s a real shame, especially after going on our best European run in years and currently sitting third in the league. What a terrible transfer window, I never knew that’s what we judged football on.

This season hinges on getting Kamberi fit then keeping him fit.

I'm clinging desperately to the fact that we'll be a different side with McGregor, Bartley, Milligan, Agyepong and Kamberi in it.

But based on what I've seen so far this season we've gone so far backwards it is frightening, with Horgan being the only new player that looks like he's up to scratch.

Am I missing something. Why do people think a 33 year old Milligan is going to make us significantly stronger? It’s glaringly obvious we miss a midfield driver. Someone to turn defence into attack quickly. Milligan is just another Bartley. centre midfield is severely lacking energy and guile now.

We would have lost today if Milligan was playing. We don’t look like creating anything if Boyle has a bad game which he did today.
