View Full Version : Spfl throwback thursday
On Facebook the theme of today’s throwbacks is stunning comebacks and out of 10 matches Hibs are the opposition in 4 of them.

What's our best league comeback in recent years?
I can think of a couple games under Collins (4-2 v Gretna and 3-3 v Aberdeen) and that's about it. We nearly pulled off a 3-2 in the relegation season v Motherwell but ironically ****ed that comeback up.

3-0 at half time against Falkirk in the Scottish Cup?

Last game of last season. 5-5. Was a pretty good comeback imo.
Depends on how recent you want but to come back from 2-0 to the then unbeaten for 67 game celtic and draw 2-2 last year was a good comeback

Not in the League but to come back from 0-2 at Tinycastle in the big cup to draw 2-2 probably went a long way to us winning the Scottish Cup! :agree:

A lot of good ones mentioned. Also..
AEK 2-0 down after first leg to get level and take it to ET. AEK were a very good side back then, sure they drew away in the Bernabau the next season
Remember us being 2-0 down at half time against Killie under Mowbray and winning 4-2

Hogmanay 92. 0-2 to Dundee United. McLean took Duncan Disorderly off with 15 mins and Miller put Evans on and destroyed them. 3-2

I take it we haven't featured in any of them as the winners?

They showed Killie 4-2 after losing 0-2 at half time. Caldwelll, Boozy (x2) and Riordan.

Been said many times before but if Paco Lunas header in the last minute had dropped the right side of the post it would have brought the house down! :greengrin
