They really were the perfect match for the Yams.

Maybe one of the "anonymous donors" could bail out Wonga for old time's sake.

Obviously I feel sorry for their staff...but does anyone else think they really just need to go and see some dodgy company who will offer them a simple solution to their cash-flow problems by charging them an arm and a leg? I hope any bank which does bail them out charges the same interest levels they did...

It's official. Can now add Wonga to the list of shame associated with Heart of Midlothian FC. Horrible company in good company.

Yes, but they're charging themselves 2000% interest.

Wonga's reputation never recovered after they sponsored Hearts, and the downward spiral that caused has now reached its inevitable conclusion.

Good riddance.

Please don't be so disrespectful to Wonga. They sponsored a big team.

I'd never have applied for a job with them. Their business plan was not much better than evil loan sharks that take advantage of vulnerable folks in a mess you and I could be a single step from. Many there as a by product of so called austerity that was so far removed from them it's stellar. Wonga, and all who sailed with her can rot in hell.
