Feel free to move this to another forum if necessary, but I thought it might get more feedback on a football-focused platform.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a sports outlet in Edinburgh which sells a good range of kids' training gear (talking primary school age). I don't mean official club kits, more just plain shirts and shorts, shin pads, boots etc.

Cheers.

Sadly, probably Sports Direct.

If you dont want to feed the disgusting behemoth that is Mike Ashley's Sports Direct, you could buy from local companies like Colin Campbell Sports at Canonmills or Aitken and Niven in Morningside. (A&N have just been bought over by an English company but that would be splitting hairs, they are still local)

It will probably cost a bit more though.

Colin Campbell’s at inverleith Row or Football nation Teamwear which is in Peffermill industrial estate. Lots of selection on makes and styles

Between these 2 shops, they supply the majority of teams in Edinburgh so you’ll find plenty.

Don’t know if they do a lot of football kit, but Decathlon is where we get a lot of stuff for our kids and the quality is pretty good and competitively priced.

Try Pro-Direct online, I always get my stuff from there. Good range and they always have a sale on something.

It’s not in Edinburgh but I bought the weeman one of these sets in green the other week. Decent quality. Don’t know what your budget is but worth a look and the sets have five different colours to pick from. :agree:

Never thought about them for football gear but happened to be passing that way earlier so popped in and got a good wee pair of boots plus shin pads :aok:

That's just the job. Neutral but with a hint of Hibs!

Thanks to all for the suggestions.
