Sooner we build our own full sized indoor pitch the better.

Thinking about heading along to this today as I missed the game today. Anyone know if it’s free entry or pay at gate?

Don’t think he played today, so will most likely play in the reserve game.

No Agyepong. Very young team, essentially last seasons 20s.

Hibs Twitter have it as Hibs Development v Partick Reserves. Strange.

3-1 Hibs. Great driving run by Hammer, and knocks the ball across the goal for Gregor Woods to tap home

Guessing the reason Swanson and Co aren't playing is we still aren't sure when we'll need folk for first team given the hectic start to the season. Maybe just being a bit cautious with tiring too many folk out (though I agree he seems miles away from the first team at present).

How 'tired' do these people get? Swanson hasn't played a 90 for most of 2018.

The reserve league is currently looking like a rebranding of the dev league - with teams mostly using the same squads as before .....no idea why the likes of Swanson et al are not getting a run out

4-1 Hibs. Lovely ball in from Shanley and Hammer volleys home

Woods off and Paton on

Nice to see Lennon and Parker on the bench too, must give the players a great lift seeing them in attendance

Don't think it just a rebranding of the development league, Hibs have just chosen to play the old development team as their reserve team. Hopefully other teams will first team fridge players giving the youngsters good experience

exactly, they are supposed to be professional sportsmen, if they cant play 2 games a week then they should have a serious think

See Shanley is on the scoresheet again. I know some of his family, how is he showing up?

Seems to either score, assist or both every week. Sure he's only 17 or something as well. Hot prospect?

Excellent 2nd half performance in particular. Went in at ht, 2-1, but came out on the 2nd half and completely dominated. Some great passing moved, and it could have been more than 4.

Hibs reserve/development side, whatever you want to call it, starting to introduce younger players this season. Shaw and Porteous etc now moved onto the 1st team

The 3 young lads who played today, Kane O’Connor, Gregor Woods and Ryan Shanley, can justifiably be proud of their performances today. Great to see the Hibs convevor belt continues to produce young players

How old was the Thistle team?

Was it a development side of were there senior players for them?

That's a good result today. Are we expecting another strong showing at this level this season, in spite of the fact that Shaw and Porteous have moved up?

I’d say it was a Development team, but they had 2 trialists playing, 1 of whom was definitely over 21 or so
