They’ve got a pretty much full strength side out.

Watching the game and Molde’s front 3 look very good and dangerous when they attack. Cibicki, Haland & Hestad. Definitely will need Bogdan and our defenders to be at their best.

Watched the last twenty minutes of the first half and would be described as British style football. I have been surprised with their style of play as I thought they would be slicker in possession.

Look like a team that like to break fast on the break. They had a few chances but Lillestrøm could also had a couple. I just felt they would be better on the ball than they were and it was a physical game, with the ball played forward quickly. They will be a challenge but we have played teams like this before so their style of play should not be alien to us.

seen none of their play, heard they can be physical and they are 26 games into their season. is this correct? however, we have a guy that can be physical when required at the back. don't know why McGregor was a no show today but sincerely hope he is ready for the away match .

17 games into their season. I read on Friday that they are very much a counter attacking team and don’t hold onto possession much.
McGregor will be fine for Thursday.

What the score home and away in that tie?

2-1 to Glenavon when Molde were playing away but Molde then won 5-1 at home. But 2 of Molde's goals were during stoppage time, and if you look at the way the scoring went you'll notice that Glenavon pulled a goal back to make it 3-1 around the 60th minute mark and spent the rest of the game knowing 1 goal without reply would have sent them through on away goals (a bit like how Asteros would have went through if they'd scored late on in our 2nd leg). So certainly scope for optimism.

Definitely seems like we are capable of giving them a right good game then. Keep a clean sheet at home and we're in a great position.

Live in Norway and speak the lingo, just been on a Molde fans forum. They are very confident of getting into play-offs. Reason being they beat Celtic and quoted our last 5-6 outings in Europe before this year. Funny thing is they have the same worry as us, us losing McGinn and them losing Håland before the games.
Interestingly most of them fancied going to Edinburgh for the pub culture we have, but a few mentioned they would keep it for the play-off. Us football fans are so similar its frightning, their fans are underestimating us but Im sure Solskjær and his staff aren,t.

Little do they know we are a different entity these days :)

That wasn’t a dig at Norwegian football, could you see Scottish football broadcasting 3 live games per round. English football is huge here, I would say even bigger than in Scotland, the pubs are full of EPL fans here every weekend all decked out in the latest merchandise. They love their football just like the Scots.

Definitely mate. He’s one of my all time favourite players after May 1999. As you said, winning this tie would be huge for Hibs! It is though going to be much harder with McGinn looking like he is going to be away come kick off but time for the other players in his absence to step up and show we can get a result without SJM.

We’ll be doing well to get through as we’re up against a team with a bit more European experience than us.

But sitting fourth in the Norwegian league makes me think it’ll be two pretty evenly matched teams.

No McGinn would/will be a massive blow though.
