A view I've never seen before – Easter Road in the shadow of Arthur's Seat.

There aren't many stadiums in the world with such an amazing backdrop.

Impressive. Newlands Cricket Ground shades it though, Table Mountain in the background, stunning.

It's a cracking shot taken by a good friend of mine. I will be attempting to take a few shots of ER in the next month from various locations

I`d guess like a lot of sports teams aslong as you don`t have a telephoto lens it will be ok,have seen people before with bridge cameras at games.

It's a shame it doesn't look like that to the naked eye. Telephoto lens makes Arthur's Seat look much closer and bigger than it actually is.

Feel like it would be a lot better if you could see the street. Almost seems like the photo has been cropped. Still a nice photo though.

It doesn't come out as well as on my original photo, but there was a full rainbow over the stadium (the lifting of the Gypsy curse :greengrin ) after we got back from the cup final. Had a better view of it from Tamsons about 10 mins earlier but cannae find the photo.

I had this issue before. The answer is to double-click the embedded pic and change the preview size to full size.
