His first ever goal in only his 2nd appearance for them (I'm sure that's what I read on twitter anyway)

Agreed. Would be great to see another Scottish team go through, especially if they were to put out a side bloated by Sky money

Done very well Aberdeen. They had a bit of a shaky start when they just couldnt keep hold of the ball but for three quarters of the game they have certainly held more than their own.

Got every chance of winning this.

Teams usually struggle with league performances straight after a European tie. I can see them both losing that game at the weekend.

Burnley scorer taunting the sheep fans. I'd rather have a vocal away support than the usual corporate, half and half scarf wearing football tourists filling grounds down south.

Aberdeen go out with their heads held high.

The English Facebook experts were predicting double figure for Burnley over the 2 legs and they have huffed and puffed to a scrappy victory. Ultimately that’s all that matters I suppose but it was good to see them get a wee scare.

Hope the Turkish team stuff them in the next round.

Burnley couldnt double figure beat a subbuteo team, they just arent expansive enough, all about hard work and being well organised and stopping the opposition from playing. Similar to Aberdeen to be fair but with a price tag.

Well, unless you're in the top six, that's what it takes to survive in the EPL.

Sam Allardyce proved that last season, much to the chagrin of the Goodison faithful who aspire to be better than that.

Burnley fans aren't bothered!

Think a draw would be the best result for us. Couple of injuries/ sending offs wouldn’t go amiss either.

It's hard to tell at the moment where we/Aberdeen/rangers will be come the end of the season and who we want to be dropping points or if it matters.

Playing it safe, always funny when the rangers lose.

0-0, 4 men sent off and The Rangers miss a last minute dodgy penalty.
Perfect start for our rivals to drop points before we start and open up with a 2-0 home win 👍🏻🇳🇬
