For those of you not fortune enough to be able to go to Greece. Selkirk are taking on a Hibs 11 on Monday night (30th).
I’m presuming it’s this seasons reserve team, along with a few of the new under 18’s who will be playing, similar to who played at Coldstream
There’s been a bit of confusion re the KO time, but I’ve been told it’s 7.15pm
See you there, if you can manage to get along

Only half an hour down the road for me so I'll make the effort to attend this one. Its a great set up at Ettrick Park and a very enjoyable ground to watch a game of football. Am I right in saying that the winners will receive the Bobby Johnstone Cup.?

They also seem to have a legends charity game fixed up tomorrow with plenty of ex Hibees taking part:-

Oops! I always get my Ettrick and Yarrows mixed up. Old habits die hard. 🤭

They’ve lost all the decent players they had last season. I’d expect them to be about bottom this season

Not the best of starts for tonight's opponents.

“Brain” Kerr masterminded the rout.
As Bono once sang he “moves in mysterious ways”. Yes the very same.

Great result for the boys and no doubt a much needed 90 mins in the legs now. Any standout performances today Billy?

Just home. And 10-0 didn’t flatter Hibs. Some really good team and individual goals tonight. Hibs hit woodwork at least 3/4 times, and had multiple shots on target. The Selkirk goalie had some great saves as well

A few have asked about who did well. I just like to report the facts, but we have a number of really good young players at Hibs just now. If you can, you should try and get along to see them

Next match is away v Tranent Juniors, next Monday night(6th), 6.45pm ko

Cheers Billy. I'll hopefully get along to another few 'reserve' games this season. Looking forward to seeing Blake play.

Never doubted you for a minute Billy!

Maybe the thought of successive 0-10 defeats was all too much for the local reporter!

Yon reporter Knox is a Jap himself so obviously embarrassed to report the double figure win. :greengrin
