Pretty sure he’s scored in every round of European football he’s competed in.

Who’d be the last player who’s played in more than one round to have done similar for the club?

A Living Legend. May 2016. Brondby away and now last night’s equaliser. SDG doesn’t do ordinary !

And every goal he scores, takes me right back to Hampden 😄

Have to admit, I thought his days were numbered. He’s looked pretty sharp in pre season and was good when he came on last night.

No bother, was a genuine question. Didn’t know if he’d gotten a game with them.

Likewise - how often do you see strikers earning a few grand a week blasting the ball into the top tier from such chances, but Gray kept his cool and composure to drill it hard into the net. Great technique.

I was fortunate to be right behind him teeing up the shots on both occasions knew it was in before it was struck - he would have buried Whitty’s chance too...

Efe brings us more good than he does bad. He carries the ball out of defence better than any of the others and creates space for other players as he get's closed down.

Yes he has a few bombscare moments but if he didn't he wouldn't be playing here, he'd be at a top top team.

We have had better players, we will have better players but we will never have another David Gray. A proper leader who defines the club since relegation. Every time he scores it seems to be important goals. All 3 against rangers, Queen of the South when we won promotion, brondby away and Thursday night. He is universally adored by the hibs fans and who would have thought that when he signed and the term journeyman was branded about

Legend

Love him that much, I’d even name a stand after him or build a statue. In my lifetime supporting Hibs, he’s one of the best club captains I’ve seen wear the green and white.

When that ball came to him at the back post, legit there was no one I would rather be coming onto it than him. Knew it was a goal right away. Big game player, big moments. Just put his head down and into the net it went.

Think his celebration said it all - Lennon take note

Felt the same way. For a defender, he's sure got a great touch and finish about him. The goal against the Faroes wasn't an easy chance either, took it well.

Was he not a right winger when he was young?
