Will we win tonight? I’m going to say yes, just as we’ve still got Mcginn and I don’t want too be too cocky. :aok:

Don't really matter if we win tonight. It's only important that we win over the 2 legs.

Can’t we have an option for really, really don’t know?

I think it might be easier to win over the two legs if we win at home tonight?

Not winning tonight will make it much more difficult to qualify. The Greek teams are usually really strong at home.

Comfortably by 2 or 3 goals.

Nothing to fear.

Important not only to win it is also vital we don't concede the dreaded "away goal" if we want to reach the next round ...

That surely can’t be right? That is 8 seasons worth of home league games for them. IF that is correct then we’ll need to win by at least 2 tonight and probably keep a clean sheet.

There seems to be options missing like draw and narrow defeat

I’d take another 6-1 to be honest.

:agree: I've really no idea,, and don't think any of us really do! I think we could get torn apart, could hammer them. and everything in between.

Really looking forward to finding out :flag:

Blimey, that’s probably one of the best home records in Europe!

Got to win tonight with a clean sheet if we want to progress

IMO we need to win by 2 and ideally not concede. I think we can do this :aok:

Going over there with a 0-0 wouldn't be a bad thing.

Any team without Whittaker in defence. :agree:

Look at it this way - you would expect Celtic to beat Asteras. Would it be reasonable to give ourselves a chance of beating Celtic? Yes, of course it would, we need to believe in ourselves.

Really have no idea. They are a complete unknown. And a bit concerned about our lack of options up front.

Wow. Is that legit? If so, that's a magnificent record. Makes winning tonight basically mandatory.

I totally agree.

I think we've got what it takes to be a threat on the break and score over there but I worry about our ability to keep a clean sheet at home.

We keep a clean sheet tonight (irrespective of how many we score) then I think we have a great chance of going through.

I think we'll win 2-1 or 3-2 tonight though which will make it tougher for us over there if we lose the first goal.

I picked up three Asteras fans in the taxi today, they are expecting a tough game with a lack of preseason, one of the boys said that they are very defensive

16 defeats in 107 according to the evening news. Still decent but about a defeat every 6 or 7 games at home.

Speaking as someone that's attending tonight but not next week, I'd say it's absolutely vital that we win this one.

On bet365 about an hour ago ,we were 13/10 to win . Now we’re down to 5/4 so there must be plenty money getting put on us to win .

Didn't someone say were 6/5 (may have made that up) earlier in week though... maybe we've gone out and come back in again.
