Seeing as preseason has been a fairly dull affair in terms of transfers, thought I’d get some of the excitement back with some of our best ever goals. Quality of the goal over importance. Post a link if you have them! More obscure the better.

One of my all time personal favourites - De la Cruz scoring a curling lob out of nowhere after only 36 seconds in the derby. If you look closely enough, there’s a few Hearts fans still taking their seats and one of them jumps up thinking they’ve scored :greengrin

Despite my Hibs bias, it must be one of the best Scottish Cup Finals of all time

Never fail to smile/cry when you see the ball leave Sir David's head and smash the back of the net

Could pick any one from Sproule's hat-trick against Rangers, but the flick and run from Scott Brown to lead up to the 2nd was brilliant.

Griff's 2nd goal against Falkirk in the 2013 Semi-Final deserves a mention as well. Was only going one place from the moment he got the ball out his feet. Huffed and puffed that game but, like always, produced something magic when we needed him. Can't wait to for him to come home.

Big Dom running circles past the Aberdeen defence in the League cup, one of my favourites at ER

Neil Orr banged a peach in from bout 30yds at home v the sheep, probs early 90s (Miller era).

Was windy as that day, sweepin from West stand across the pitch. Neily picks ball up half way inside their half and somewhere right of centre. Smacks it with his right peg, lookin like it would more likely be hittin the old Polis shed in the corner, but instead with more then a touch of wind assistance it curved beautifully into the top left hand corner.

Think everyone else around where I was, at rear of the East near the halfway, all shared what felt like the best ever position to see this rare gem, from a player we rarely saw score.

Never forgotten it.

1993 or 1994, Kevin McAllister midweek game at home v Raith I think, where he ran down the left wing, cut in onto his right foot and sent a screamer from the edge of the box into the top corner like an arrow. An absolute gem of a goal from a cracking wee player.

An honourable mention goes to Steve Archibald for his winning goal at the bus shelter too.
