Has anybody claimed this?
Put my claim in 6 weeks ago but still to hear from airline. What i'm wondering is if they will try and say it's time barred as 5 years is up next week?

Yes, from easyjet, but it was claimed a couple of weeks after the flight.

I remember a flight back from Sweden was delayed for 3 hours and we all got a voucher to spend in the shop. A whole £3.50

Yes a couple of times but never that close to the wire.

Should be fine provided you have proof of flight details and proof you lodged the claim.

Which airline/route was it?

Which airline/route was it? Thomas Cook, Orlando to Glasgow. Read that they try to get out of paying.

hi
unsure how much this will help
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=251

Lots of info im sure to be found.
Airlines are really horriable in regards trying to wiggle out of compasation,
My sisters were delayed for 3 hours last year with what the airline discribed as an *eleotronic fault*

the airline changed there story and said it was something to do with a peice of the airline carpet not sticking down which they deemed to be a H+S issue which means they dont pay out

Hope the link may be of help

Haven't dealt with them. I had trouble with Swiss air, they tried to claim they weren't part of the scheme and I had to go to the arbitration service. Settled for 75% of the pay out.

Persist with them and you'll get there eventually, follow the Martin Lewis guidelines.
