Zante to Tripolis on day of the game

For any heading from Zante to Tripolis on the day of the game my trip is;

Zante -Kyllini ferry 10.15 arrive 11.15 am

Kyllini to Tripolis - taxi is £60

If any looking to go this route can share taxi or try to get minibus?

I have 6 or 7 mates who will be in Zante and are looking to travel this way as well. They don’t have a hibs.net login so asked me to post for them. Who did you get to quote the prices? They would be interested in the minibus idea.

Think with prices at the moment I will be going via athens.

I was quoted from zante 1200 euro for a 16 seater mini bus.

based on that the above method or local bus / ferry is the cheapest method of travel.

We are also in zante, but ideally would be looking to travel the day before the game.

I found the prices to Athens much more expensive. Couldn’t find a flight under £550 and that’s just flights. Instead we are taking this route:

Edinburgh to Newcastle - £10 train then the fair by metro to airport
Newcastle to zante - flights and accommodation £357
Ferry to mainland - €19
Then meeting hibbyradge form here and car sharing and one night accommodation - £75 roughly.

Might well work out the same price overall but a wee adventure. Also means if we don’t make it it’s a wee 4 day holiday in Greece and no a waste of cash

still to sort transport to tripoli - but would expect around 40/50 euro each

3 nights accomodation in tripoli has worked out around £100 each.
Flights back from athens to london & london to edinbirgh about £150 each in total.

So all in under the £400 mark for a 6 day trip.

Tourist info gives price of £45 -£60 for the trip from ferry terminal at Kyllini to Tripolis that is what I am basing it on.

Two of us are looking at Zante. How certain are you guys on A) the Ferry and B) the taxi/transport to get us from Zante to Tripolis for under £100? Is that a return price or just one way?

That £60.00 is wrong for the Taxi. That's for a place called Kyllini well on the mainland (it's actually a mountain).

It's looking like two busses & a 5:30am ferry if you want to make the game.

9:30 - 10:30 Kyllini to Pyrgos
12:15 - 15:15 Pyrgos to Tripolis

Best to find out now - sorry!

Put in Kyllini West Greece is will show you the correct route although no taxi price. I have requested a price for taxi and 9 Seater MB from a taxi company operating out of there.

i have a quote from a recommended taxi operator that will meet us at the ferry terminal at Kyllini port (ferry leaving 10.15 from Zante) at 11.15. Ferry is 9 euros each way

Direct to Tripolis for 370 Euros (46 each} in air conditioned minibus Transfer time is 2h 45mins so we will be In Tripolis for 2.15/2.30.

I am returning to Zante next day, Friday and will look to get a taxi back from there to Kyllini. If there are a few of us going back to Zante we can ask a local firm for a deal I suppose. My ferry is 17,00 from Kyllini

3 of us staying in Zante from Saturday 28th and travelling to Tripolis on morning of the game.We are staying overnight then returning to Zante on Friday. I have a quote of 280 euros each way for taxi/8 people making it 35 € or £30 per person each way 🤷*♂️

For anyone staying in Zante. We are staying in laganas. The following hotel cost us £129 for 4 people for 3 nights. ( £11 each per night )
The price seems to double then go back down.

4 of us would be interested if it was the wednesday.

I was quoted 800 euro for a 19 seater. 900 euro for a 40 seater. 1000 euro for a 50 seater. Unlikely to have such numbers on the wednesday when we are travelling, but may be off interest to others who are travelling the Thursday.
