Banned from Europa League for breaches of the FFP.

Definitely out of this season's EL?

The story I read had a really convoluted desription of the punishment that could be interpreted in other ways.

Hardly a surprise, they spent 150million euros when they were told to spend 30 million. And their Chinese investors sounded extremely dodgy.

So when do PSG get their comeuppance?

Yep. Milan don’t have anyone to blame but themselves but the perceived double standards with PSG makes you wonder.

The new US owner in the offing for Milan, however, may cause a few mor twists and turns here..

The most successful teams in future won't have the best players, the best teams will be the ones with the best lawyers and creative accountants. Unless they sort out this ffp farce.

Interesting out of all the "big" clubs to hammer for this, they pick one that are at a historic low and not in the UCL. Hmm.

Barca/Madrid etc can spend as much as they like, UEFA will NEVER ban them from the Millionaires' League.

Cheers, story I read said banned from the 'next competition they qualify for', which is a weird way to phrase it given they've already qualified.

Inter could drop out of their CL group and meet us in the knockouts.

I'm fairly sure the best teams will still have the best players. Lawyers and accountants don't win games.

Still should shorten our odds for winning it.

I said 'acquisition' in the case of Mbappe, because I know the technicality, but regardless the loan was just a device for a year until the massive 150 millionplusfee was payable. And the fee was 200 million euro give and take for Neymar. So I don't get your point really, both players cost in excess of 300 million total and basically ****s in the handbag of FFP.

Unless you were just trying to be pedantic. It's like being back on the holy ground on here some days:dizzy:

Mbappe was a loan , end of... They took over his wages and paid a loan fee...….

The Qatar group who own PSG gave Neymar the money to buy out this contract , therefore becoming a free agent..

He was paid £150,000 a week by PSG and give the role of '' ambassador for Qatar 2022 '' and paid £350,000 a week...

That is how they got around FFP...……………...

What does he do in his ambassadorial role for his £350k? What a lot of nonsense that is and it does seem to be a case of ripping the pish out of FFP.

Fifa Uefa no change. Debt and money spent should be set to % income of club. Rules black and white. Rich owners can only donate a % amount per season and it cant be given as loan but a gift only. All clubs should be protected at 50% fan ownership. It's not hard
