Looking for other Hibbys on this flight or arriving into Athens around this time to share transport to Tripoli. Unfortunately my pals are flying out the day before and I could only get two days' annual leave due to other staff already being on holiday. I've put e-mails out to a few taxi firms to see how much a four seater would cost for a transfer straight from the airport to Tripoli.

Just giving this a wee bump as it's still a reasonably cost effective outward leg for anyone who can't travel any earlier on the Wednesday - flight from Edinburgh to Milan is at 20:15 on the Wednesday evening.

Not that it really matters but the Milan to Athens leg is at 06:00 rather than 06:30, contrary to my original post.

I might consider this route for our group, as the times would suit my work commitments also. How much did you get the flights for, out of curiosity?

Not going to book until after the first leg of the Runavík game though, I have previous of being a total jinx :greengrin

Edinburgh - Milan was £66 and Milan - Athens was £119. Think it's about the same today?

Is that one way prices? Asking for a friend

It was indeed the one way prices. Haven't checked to see how much it is today but worth giving this thread a bump nonetheless.

Just giving this a bump for anyone looking for a Plan B now that the charter is cancelled. Coming in at £252 one way tonight: you can get Athens-Crete-Glasgow for about £140ish leaving on Friday afternoon to get home too.
