I just wanted to flag up a number of events organised by the Leith Community Fundraising Organisation (LCFO) coming up this weekend and beyond. These will both honour the memory of Shaun Woodburn and raise money for important charities, including Street Soccer Scotland, Whispers and Light and Kinsfolk Carers.
Friday 25 May at 18:30 - Leith Links - Leith Athletic Legends vs Hibs Legends charity match
Those turning out on the day include Garry O'Connor, Derek Riordan, Darren Jackson, Gordon Hunter, Keith Wright, Darren Dodds, Steven Tweed and many more. GOC and Derek Riordan will be taking part in a penalty shootout on the day.
Saturday 26 May at 11:00 - LCFO Charity Walk
A charity walk leaving from Leith Academy car park and continuing around the walkway, followed by a party for kids at Leith Dockers Club.
Saturday 2 June at 13:30 - Leith Links - Shaun Woodburn Cup
A charity match featuring squads made up of 32 Leith Athletic legends.
It would be great to see Leithers and Hibs fans alike come out to support these great events.
