Mental game, but thought Efe looked well off today, probably worst I've seen him for Hibs when he's been solid generally. Never conceded when McGregor came on. Cummings actually got bit of change out of Ambrose today. Felt there was times he should have just been using his difference in size to shrug jase off the ball. Think he was one of the players in our side on holiday mode today. That said i don't think any of our defence mastered art of defending today, and were left at times very exposed.

Slivka was outstanding today first half especially. Special mention to McLaren for hat trick and winning penalty, deservedly MOTM.

Efe was utterly dreadful today tbh...should have been hooked long before he was

Said early on I didn't think he was fully at the races today and had an "Efe" moment in him. Cummings could easily have punished him for that terrible back header

I thought he was solid most of the time, mind you, was probably watching through my fingers by that point.

I thought he was fine......well as fine as a defender could be when we conceded 5 goals.

I think he’ll be away in the summer though, not really sure why, just a gut feeling.

Thought he was the only defender that actually stuck to his position and tried to defend.

There were times it was just him at the back.

Bizarre.

Was left massively exposed by Hanlon playing left wing at times. Can only imagine it was part of the plan otherwise Lennon would have put a stop to it long before he did.

Was coasting until we conceded

He's been mostly decent for us this season but if there China rumours are true then take the money.

Trying to remember the goals but didn't feel like he was the worst part of our defence today.

That being said, we've lost too many sloppy goals this year and the defence isn't getting any younger. I'd like to keep Efe but if we got a decent offer I'd be minded to cash in and bring in a couple of players, especially with Porteous coming through.

All the goals came through the middle, but it would be hard to pinpoint any of them to individual mistakes.

They seemed to me to be a mixture of decent finishes, deflections and collective abandonment off defensive duties.

Efe didn't strike me as being any worse than anyone else.

I don't think you can measure the defensive performance in the same way when you're set up to chase a six goal deficit. It was kamikaze attack.

He was fine. He was essentially the only defender and once he received a yellow card there wasn’t really much he could do.

He had his usual Efe moments but not the worst today, Whittaker was brutal for most of the game and was posted missing for their 4th, positionally inept at times.

Good point :agree:
We had nothing to gain by not going for gold.

Don't think Marciano (who had two wonderful saves today)helps when defenders are trying to usher the ball back-there have been a few scary moments.

McGregor should have played our only genuine defender. Efe too loose to play in middle of back 3 imo.
