the way i'm feeling right now is similar to how i felt when we went 2-1 down in the cup final - utterly gutted, with a feeling of impossibility of the task, but an almost liberating desperateness to make it happen, because we have absolutely nothing to loose. Granted, this task is on a much grander scale, and i have no expectation that we'll do it, but i don't care, i just want us to go out and throw ourselves at the task regardless, with an almost idiotic belief that it will actually happen.

We have absolutely nothing to lose after all .... I watched Hearts go to Ibroke two weeks ago for a game that meant absolutely nothing to them and set up in the most cowardly fashion to try and get a draw. On Sunday I'd rather see us lose the game throwing caution to the wind at least in the first half ... if we were to go in 2 - 0 up who knows what could happen, in truth that's the least we would need to be ahead after 45 minutes to have any chance.

The whole thing depends on us playing with a massive intensity, resolve and bravery for 90 + minutes and relying on a huge slice of luck to keep a clean sheet .... in all honesty its about as likely as us winning the league in the next 5 years ..... but I bet that at some time in the 5 years before 2016 some Leicester City fan used the same comparison talking about a game his team was about to be involved in.

In short, if something isn't actually physically impossible then it can happen, no matter how unlikely that might be, what a thing it would be for anybody who was there to witness such an event :greengrin

That would be great but realistically if we play to our maximum by having a positive reaction to the awful performance at tiny we could win the game.

I would be happy with any sort of win and I think it would send us into the summer in an upbeat mood ready for the challenge of next season.
