View Full Version : We allowed them to bully us tonight with the help of the referee

Thomson allowed them to get away with several assaults ......they were well up for it and flying into every challenge ( often wrecklessly ) ......we didn't have enough players up for the physical battle tonight. Lewis was sleeping at their first goal ....and none too clever at their second ......having said that with a wee bit of luck we could've still snatched a draw out if that game.

having said all that , overall we have established ourselves in our first season back as a top 4 team , a lot of positives to take out if the season ......now lets leather the Huns at the weekend and finish the season on a high

Don't blame Thomson

McGinn and Allan need to take a look at themselves after a pasting from a teenager and a supposedly finished Naismith

Nah sorry, we let ourselves get bullied. We just didn’t turn up this wasn’t Thompson’s fault. Yes one or two should could have been booked only ones to blame is Hibs we just never got going!

Every player were shi**ing themselves going into a tackle amd that was purely because they feared a career threatening tackle. Absolute thugs

Also playing two wide men on the smallest pitch in the league. This was always going to be a battle a game made for Bartley.

Allan was weak, McGinn was weak, Whittiker was weak though at least got stuck in, defensively we were ****, we didn't take our chances and we resorted to playing ****ING HOOFBALL. Yes that's right, we launched the ball forward so often before it sank in in that it doesn't work. Bullied? Nah, we were just ****.

And the referee was fine, poor free kicks for both sides and the one that led to their goal was defended so poorly that we might as well have let them walk the ball in.

Exactly - a rare Lewis mistake and no excuse for Hanlon's part in the 2nd.
