Unfortunately one of our own Mickey Neri passed away last night after a short fight with cancer. For those going to Aberdeen please join in on the 48th minute in a round of applause in his memory. Mickey was a good man and hibs mad. Regular face at LA boxing and liked by many. RIP Mickey.

Knew Mikey since we went to Holyrood high school together. Didn’t even know he was ill until a couple of days ago. Good Hibby, top man. I’ll be at Aberdeen joining in the applause. Thoughts go out to his family.

He was a couple of years below me at school. I also remember playing against him in the old Maybury Sunday League when he played for St Leonard's back in the day. Hibs daft. RIP.

I knew a Mickey Neri when I was growing up,did he play for Tamsons mid 80s? I was only thinking of that team last night when I posted about Micheal Dickson’s passing yesterday.

I am pretty sure this is the Mikey Neri i went to school with. i was sure he was in my class at St Francis primary but if he went to holyrood he must have been younger than me. Condolences to his family on this sad occasion.
