Chuffed for him. Never gets the same recognition as our other midfielders imo. Now get that contract offer signed.

While i agree with this to an extent it would have been easy enough for us to give up on him and go and sign another midfielder to replace him - one we thought would be fit every week and never really gave him a chance. We didn’t, we gave him an opportunity to prove himself and he’s done it: he doesn’t owe us anything but we stuck by him.

How do you know we haven't? Perhaps slivka was brought in, with a view that McGeouch might be moved on if he couldn't get fit? Maybe Fraser Murray was earmarked for more football if McGeouch couldn't hold his fitness levels. Who knows the footballing strategy of the club, especially regarding DMcG specifically.

He's won the Scottish cup and got us promoted. I hope he stays as I love him as a player but I fully expect him to move on, and wish him nothing but the best luck.

I honestly think this year was one of the hardest to pick. Hanlon, Stevenson, McGinn could easily have won it. Well done to Dylan though he really has been terrific. 👏🏼🇳🇬

Come on Dylan a cheeky wee 2yr deal and see if we can build on this amazing season.

We stuck by him because he is a brilliant player.

He owes us nothing more than what his contract says. Let’s all just hope his contract reads differently very soon.
