If things had gone differently in pre-season we could've been watching Jermaine Pennant whipping in balls for Lafferty to miss open goals.


Thank god for that lucky escape.

Pennant is playing non league English football. I'm not sure you can equate that to being a good player tbh.

I also think Lafferty is a huddy who hasn't kicked a ball in a derby this season

You don't play in the English premiership without being a good player.

Lafferty has had to deal with balls being humped at him constantly and has still scored goals. He would've scored a lot in our team with the way we play.

Obviously I wouldn't take either over what we have now but they aren't bad players.

Definitley can’t class Pennant as a good player anymore. He’s finished at any sort of decent level.

Pennant is honking. 10 years ago he was good but not now! Lafferty is also pretty ***** with a stinking attitude.

He's brutal and he's taking a very good amount of money out of Hearts' budget. I really, really hope he and Naismith are their strikers next year as well.
