His interview on Hibs TV confirms that.

He thanks Hibs for giving him time to get over his injuries, but says nothing about staying or wanting to stay.

So did he just say nothing about it? Or did he actually say he wouldn’t be here next year?

Every loan player reports to their parent club for preseason training unless they are on a two year loan. Saying that hes in the English ecosystem of wages were he won’t even think about going to another club for less than 10-15 grand a week.

Shows how undervalued our game is. Clearly it’s the best football he’s played in his career and the most he’s enjoyed it but can bugger off to leave us for 3/4 times what we can pay in English third tier.

You must have a different version of Hibs TV than I do as mine just has interviews with Scott Allan and Neil Lennon.

I think it must be that one but I don't subscribe so can't confirm.

He didn’t say he wouldn’t come back. He said he’s loved this season and thanked the staff. He’s probably not going to be back due to his wage demand and the fact he’s out of contract and will be on more than we can afford but there was no quote from him ruling it out.

Why you feeling the need to be a smart arse to your fellow fans. You could have just said what barker said in the interview but instead you’ve added your own part implying he’s not coming back. Being arsey with people asking you for the quotes or where the interview was. Is there any need?

Struggling to see the correlation to the thread title. Just watched the interview and doesn't rule out coming back.

He does say he just wants to just get the season finished
but also says hes loved every moment of it apart from the injury setback.

No, he doesn't say he's not coming back. That's my interpretation of his answer.

And it's correct.

Weird thread. He gave a stock answer that footballers give in this situation.

Not sure what else anyone could expect to be honest.

None. Some comments from others seem to have cleared it up and it looks as if your OP was nonsense. Or rather, the thread title was.

My interpretation of his comments is that he won't be here next season.

Nonsense? Trolling? Nah.

Fancy a £50 bet, proceeds to Dnipro?

I never said he’d stay. I don’t think we can afford the wages he’d want.

When you were asked what was actually said you chose to be wide instead of just actually answering the questions. Your thread title gave the impression that it was said he definitely won’t be here.

I thought he cleverly disguised that he wants to come back and sign for us permanently. Probably just being respectful to his parent club.
