I won’t be using my season ticket tomorrow. I have tried to call Hibs via 0844 844 1875 (7ppm) and 0131 661 1875 to make it available to others but both numbers just ring out. The former eventually gives a “no operator” message.

What should I do to release my seat?

I know this has been discussed before but I don’t recall the conclusion and there’s no harm in highlighting again what the process is.

Frankly, if it’s not easy to return a vacant seat then I can understand why we still see empty seats at sell out matches.

You are only able to release your seat to the club when it is a sell out. Tomorrows game isnt and wont be.

I released a couple earlier using 0131 661 1875. It rang for about 3 minutes before cutting off a few times but I Persevered and eventually got through to someone.

you can email the ticket office. Can't remember the address though.

Not sure how well that inbox is monitored to be honest.

Last time I released a seat I got a reply within an hour or so. Might be leaving it a bit late now though tbf.

You can release them online if the game is sold out otherwise it is the old fashioned way and contact the ticket office
