Though it looks like there was only 4 of them in the contest. So which past or present Hibs player had/has the most powerful shot?

Eddie Turnbull seemingly had a very shot in him, my dad said he broke the net against Rangers, don't know how much truth there is in that though, could've been my dad at the wind up. :greengrin

Only one winner. The sadly missed Bobby Smith.

In my time watching Hibs, Sauzée's the one who springs to mind. I'm not surprised that Boyle won the wee competition as I've noticed him stinging the keeper's hands a few times. What does surprise me is that he's really wiry, where as most footballers known for having a hard shot are more well built - like Sauzée, Carlos, etc.

Due to his lack of accuracy Boyler more chance of breaking someone’s nose sitting in rowZ.

Eddie Turnbull (cannonball kid) pour moi.

Zambernardi had a powerful left peg, not an accurate one though

He scored an absolute howitzer last year against Livingston I think or Dumbarton, anyway it was a belted.

I can imagine David Murphy having a stinger of a shot... right after taxing an exquisite first touch.

Still waiting on him to repeat the feat-should be scoring more imo.

Eric Scheadler had a hell of a shot on him when he occasionally let fly, if my boyhood memory serves me right.

Zitelli would also be in my list as would Gordon Rae

Not sure how the balls compare but that puts him in the top 3...

Not quite, those are miles per hour and ours were in km/h.

De la Cruz, that raker he scored in a derby. Or Yogi, I'm sure he could whack it....the ball I mean....

Sauzee and De La Cruz are the two that would immediately spring to mind for me.
