I could only sit and watch a hearts match and want them to win if it meant something really massive for us....e.g them winning puts us into Europe. We're not at that stage yet so hopefully we can do it ourselves without their help.

There’s every chance Hearts will get men sent off but that’s becisee they’re a team of absolute thugs sent out to kick people, nothing to do with west coast bias.

Which is one of the funniest threads ive read in a long long time. I encourage anyone to sit down with a brew and have a butchers. The majority really do hate us, and everything about or realated to us. The few sensible posters who try and use logic are quickly rounded on.

Few things i dont get, why do they call Neil Lennon popcorn teeth?
Infact, why do they obsess over how any of our players or managers look?
Why do they make up lies and stories about our 'love in' with celtic?
Do they actually believe what they post? I know its our rivals forum but my god they dont half post some pish.

Whether it’s a draw or a win shouldn’t make a whole lot of difference. I expect Celtic to eat both rangers and Aberdeen meaning we have gained three on them both. Our goal difference would take u above Aberdeen with a 3 point swing, and if rangers dropped any points today would take us above them. That means if we don’t lose to either, and beat Killie and Hearts we would finish ahead of at least one at worst.

Some rare perspective and self-awareness on there...

”Some rather sad and pathetic posts on this thread tbh. Some Hearts fans still seem to think it's 2012. It's not.
"Love-in"? A love-in would've involved Hibs laying down for their hooped masters http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/uploads/emoticons/Mystic_rolleyes.gif Instead, they played well and won the game. Like they've played well repeatedly against Celtic and Rangers all season long.

I hate to break it to some folk, but Hibs aren't what, for so long, we thought of as "Hibs" any more. They got the monkey off their backs by winning the Scottish Cup. Then they came back up; now they're challenging for 2nd, as Lennon said they would; and we've won one game out of 11 against them. They're basically doing what we should be doing - and they're doing it by playing very good football, and despite Stokes having done his level best to **** them up mid-season.

Hearts fans should be furious about this development. Good to see that many are. Sad to see some trying to explain it by thinking it must all be down to some incestuous relationship between them and Celtic. Bluntly, we're in no position to laugh at them until we get our own house in order. 16 points behind them on a slightly bigger budget is embarrassing. And no amount of comfort blankets about 5-1, 22 in a row or anything else will change that.”

I can't remember a game like this where there is no result that would be bad.

As we could be 3 points behind them after today, with them having a far superior goal difference, we could beat them on the last day and still end up below them, a hearts win for me.

22-04-2018, 10:43 AM
I reckon the game will be an utter war with many dodgy decisions, red cards and suspensions. In between occasional outbreaks of football they will fight out a dour 0-0 draw.

Off the pitch there will be much frustration, gnashing of teeth, knuckle dragging, drinking from puddles, police oppression, arrests and a massive traffic jam on the M8.

In conclusion, I sincerely hope everyone involved has a thoroughly miserable time

SirDavidsNapper

Normally for this fixture, I would want a a 0-0 draw, but today, I want a Hearts win, and a big win at that. Even if we lost all our remaining games, hearts can’t catch us, rangers could be our stumbling block for the last euro slot IF Motherwell win the cup.

All in all I want the last game of the season to be the fight for second place and hope we hammer them into the bargain.

I can understand where some are coming from and saying if we win our last 4 games we will get 2nd etc.The way I look at is that will be difficult so any points our rivals for 2nd loose, no matter who against, will make it easier for us to achieve our goal. I therefore want the huns and the dons to loose all their remaining games and draw against each other. All that matters is Hibs.

Its a game where both losing would be the ideal outcome, but seeing as how that isn't possible and a draw does us less good than a win for the Yams does it has to be a Yams win for me ... if it suits Hibs it suits me and I don't care if that means a Hertz win.

Yeah, I read that after the game yesterday. The best part is their theories pre-kick off.

Some thought Hibs would hand the title to our "big cousins" so we could all celebrate together. Others thought that Celic would gift us the win to hurt Sevco. Yet others believed that we had agreed a draw to give Hibs a point and allow Celtic to win the league against Rangers.

The only thing they all agreed on was that, whatever the result - it was a conspiracy.
