There will probably be a lot of threads singling players out but Lewis was absolutely incredible today. Forrest and Roberts both firmly in his back pocket. Take a bow.

Yip. I have Kamberi as my Man of the Match, but Stevenson was the other stand out. Great cross for the goal and another that was cut out just before. Some fantastic challenges and passing throughout. I can only mind Forrest getting past once and I'm fairness to Lewy if was a great ball. Roberts... Not even close.

I have had a go at him a few times about his crossing, but never about his attitude and committment,Today theballhe put in for the first goal was fantastic and if it hadbeen some other teams players highlighted time n time again. The ball heput in that Brown touched away and was deemed offsidewas also fantastic ...as has been said the rest of his game today was top notch ..positionally, tackling, getting forward, passing ....as good as it gets in a performance from a full back in any team in any game....ggtth

Thinking about his first goal it wasn't so long ago he couldn't cross a road, his work ethic puts mine to shame.

The biggest difference in Lewis' crossing has came from us playing at a higher tempo and actually having 2 strikers who want to get in the box. He has had pretty much nothing to aim at for years.

The wee man was my MOTM by a fair bit which is saying something considering how well the vast majority in the team played. He won every battle, got us on the front foot and hardly put a boot wrong. Hanlon and him are a great partnership on the left side of defense and we are very lucky to have two stalwarts who are also excellent players.

i agree as always Lewis did have brilliant game and his running with the ball and the cross for the first goal was superb.

Its good to read so many of you getting behind him and because of this his confidence is at a high.

Lewis wont give up and fights for every ball, as we seen today when he was on the ground with, i think Roberts, and the wee toad had his legs wrapped around him. he didnt let up but kept his ground and determination to get the ball!

So pleased for him today as i was for the whole team. Great spirit!

And I’m sure I read on Twitter this week that some fans wanted us to try and sign Lee Wallace...

Lewis is an excellent full back, and never gave Forrest/Roberts a look in today. One v one, I’d back Lewis against any winger in Scotland. Similar to Hanlon, he’s vastly underrated by non Hibs fans. My man of the match today, only mistake I remember him making was when he over ran the ball in 2nd half.

Yes we now just assume that Lewis will always be available, because he’s never injured and never gets booked.

We’d have an issue if he was out for any length of time.

I don't expect anything less from him.

I rarely single him out for praise, probably unfairly, because I just expect him to be a 7 or 8 out of 10 every week minimum. Mr consistent and hardly ever lets us down and he was a 10/10 today.

Could argue Hanlon and McGeough for MOTM but Lewis did what he usually does, except he seemed to up it by an extra 20%.

Safe in defence, and positive in attack. And, as always, getting himself into space to receive the pass, time and time again.

What a player.

Him kamberi and swanson simply refused to buy into the hype that it's celtc so we watch and admire. Bossed them, Lewis was our top performer but Danny knocking Scott Brown off the ball and leaving him for dead is one of my seasons favourite moments.

Lewis was my MOTM today.

He kept some of Scotland's most dangerous players quiet down his side, and put in a perfect ball for our first goal going forward.

Lewis Stevenson is one of football's best kept secrets - we're lucky to have him and there are a number of impostors out there earning much more money than him.

I’ve always thought he was a good player, but has his limitations. He seems to have really kicked on in the second half of this season. Particularly those limitations, he looks to have a final ball these days.

It really irks me when I see people talk about Lewis’s “limitations”. It’s cliche-esque on here now and I reckon people just chuck it in to be one of the crowd. Always baffled me. I don’t recall any other player at ER being tagged with this “limited” description.

Please enlighten me as to what these limitations amount to. Ta.

The lads stuck to the task, got through it and is now shining under lennon in particular. An exceptional Hibee and one of the best at his job I've seen.

Lewy is getting forward a lot more under Lennon and his use of the ball has been excellent. His crosses have been really good this season and the first goal today was of course a perfect example. Great role model for younger players - and so rare these days for a player to be loyal to one club for so long.

I think his limitations are that he is too short to play goalkeeper and has yet to win the top flight with Hibs so has a gap in his medal collection.

Stevenson can't do much about the former but still has time to fix the latter.

Not always been nonsense.

The improvement in Boyle compared to what he was when he first came to Hibs is incredible.

And as for Stevenson he’s no longer just a steady player. He is in the best form of his career but criticism of his final ball, in the past, has been merited. I think he’s improved that part of his game of late.
