I just read this story and I'm sure it's a situation we can all sympathise with.

Hopefully Hibs can do something that'll bring a little happiness at such a sad time.

I can’t imagine this would be too hard for the club to arrange.

Maybe something for the club reps to get involved?

I get football clubs are a business these days, but they exist, in my mind, to bring pleasure to their fans.

I’d be immensely proud of our club if they do something for this man, before his wife passes away, so that she can see it. And equally, I’ll be disgusted if they don’t.

That said, given how Hibs have been over the last few years with community outreach, knowing that some of the players have really went out their way to connect with and support individual fans, and knowing how much Lennon did for the wee laddie at Celtic, I’m confident that Hibs will be more than willing to do something for this couple.
