I think this will be a certainty, especially if we get a good result on the weekend. I can see Killie bringing a decent crowd in their form, maybe 1-2k.

Did killie not sell half the south stand out in December? They'll fancy their chances of getting a European spot

From the Youtube highlights, it looked like they filled up nearly 5 sections out of 11 in the South stand, and I'm sure there'll be more showing up next week. I'd think it would be hilarious if the Killie fans sell their initial allocation out quickly, while Hibs fans are a little bit slow to buy theirs, so that the club *increases* Kilmarnock's allocation to more than whatever Rangers gets cut to. The seethe would register on the Richter scale...

Tried to release my ST using their new Ticket Exchange scheme - it is supposed to be there for matches that are, or are close to, sell outs.

I would have thought the Celtic game would have qualified but it isn't there - which is strange. I sent an email instead.

Maybe it's to do with them deciding whether or not to split the South for OF matches.

Your impression was correct, they wouldn't have played against Celtic in the cup final.

Ryan Christie was an example of this, couldn't play in the 2017 final for Aberdeen v Celtic.

Nothing to do with that.

At that time there was no rule saying players couldn't play for their loan club against their parent club in the Scottish Cup. That rule did apply in league games.

I'm not sure if the cup rules have since been updated to match the rules in league games or if it's still up to the clubs to decide.

Ive been keeping an eye on the Huns T sales as I might need a couple extra and I appreciate its a moving target as some fans might release ST's back and such like but as of this morning there were

East 11
West 47 + 61 (Exec)
FF18

Grand total of 137. Two days ago there were 243 but I would imagine they will sell out tomorrow as fans buy T's at the TO over the weekend.

It might be the club have a little push again to remind ST holders who cant make it they can release the seat and the Club can sell them on and then early next week we tell the Huns to ram their allocation and release a few block in the South to Hibs fans.

Could these seats that appear for sale late have been potentialy held as free tickets ? Then released as demand is outstripping supply (majority of games this season). If thats the case your probably looking at a couple hundred max per game. Nowhere near the thousands the jambos like to claim are given out to boost our attendances.

You mean apart from the 20,000 that will be there.

The game might not have a formal ‘sell out’ tag but the available seats is about 1.2% of the capacity so I think we can all live with 98.8% attendance figures...

It was a similar conclusion that people came to for the semi final as well. People thought the poor turnout from our fans was because of the fact that most expected us to lose and they were put off as a result.

I personally don't understand that mentality but each to their own.

It will be interesting to see the attendance figure as hibs normally report tickets sold other than bums on seats. Given there looks to be quite a few re-sale tickets it might only be a few off a sellout minus the posh seats.

Sadly there are some in our support that appear to be of a mind that tomorrow is a foregone conclusion, and yes it won't be fun watching them celebrate if they win, especially, if like me, you are stuck at the back of the east and having to spend ten mins getting out at the end. No doubt that Celtic, if they play to their potential, will probably win; I say this as a realist rather than a defeatist, having watched Hibs for the best part of 52 years. However, the fact that the best part of 16500 of us will be there is cause for celebration.

Anybody ever used a photo of a ST to get in? Brother is away with work, but has sent a photo of his ST which I was hoping to scan. (Adult ST)

Should work if it's a good photo and you turn your brightness right up.

Amazed it wasn’t a sell out.

Still, good times when an attendance of just under 20k is seen as slightly disappointing.

More fool them ha ha.
