Very similar pedigree to the great Cole the goal.

If it was us signing Mclean and this boy I'd be seriously underwhelmed.

"Brings a physical presence".

Sounds familiar. A Craig Levein striker. I hope he does as well as Cole the goal.

Ive seen him play live once before. He’s ****ing huge and was a right nuisance throughout. Caused the opposition all sorts of problems. This was English League Two level though, where the likes of James Collins are made to look incredibly good at scoring goals.

Hopefully as good as the last striker we signed from Cambridge.

Such a predictable signing from Levein.

Physical presence blah blah blah..

One things for sure they won’t change their style of play with Levein still in charge.

Agree. And the best bit is they are spending £1m on a new hybrid pitch which will make it a far easier surface to play proper football on for likes Hibs, Celtic, Aberdeen, Killie and even The Rangers style of play.

Thanks chumps.

That’s a positive for others.

It’s still like watching a different sport at the Tiny Library at times. Small pitch etc.

I’m predicting they will still have issues with the pitch due to lack of light unless they spend more on those fancy grass grow lights which aren’t cheap.

I've seen the guy a couple of times. At this level he's better than Stockton but then so is my compost bin.

They had a guy with a similar style in N'Goo (?) but faster. I suspect doctor football has just been trawling for a player who ticks the tall and free box as given the guys out of contract no one down here seems to have been seriously interested in signing him so the Gorgie giants got him.

Better wearing a Hearts top and chucking in some racist abuse while you're there if you want to properly acclimatise him to life at Hearts.

'All-is' is off his game today with his latest piece of 'Jamboganda' - I've re-read this article several times and at no point does he mention Hearts world-class training-facilities at the Oriam as one of the reasons Ikpeazu's signed for them !

Best of luck to him and I mean that, for his sake given what happened to the last black striker to represent heartsBiggest issues the guy might face initially are will he be tall enough and accumulate enough fouls, yellows and reds to keep them challenging for the dirtiest team in Scotland. If not then he'll be hounded out.

You never know. Could turn out to be a Cole Stockton, but could turn out to be Curtis Main. Sometimes you get gems in Englands lower leagues, sometimes you get duds.

I love his interview in the EEN. “Playing football in England, I didn’t know much about Scottish football to be honest but I did know that Hearts is a big club.”

He just knew Hearts were a big club lol.

Levein's transfers over the last few years have been nothing short of abysmal with the exception of Lafferty who's goals probably scraped them top 6. Anonymous against Hibs though. I'm more concerned about who Aberdeen and Rangers bring in.

https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/Cole the goal was "unplayable on his day" that's why they signed him. It's a bit like waiting to see one of free kick specialist malaury Martin's free kicks.

No one knows when their day is coming, if it ever existed. The promise of something happening maybe at an unknown future date ain't much of a signing policy but they've persisted with it.

Reading between the lines here it seems to me to be certain that Naismith wont be at PBS next season & there's a good chance Lafferty will be offski also. I'm no fan of these 2 but they're international footballers who are being replaced by an ageing journeyman & an untried lower division player. Happy days.
