"Given the lack of time given to plan arrangements and sell tickets, Celtic will occupy the full South Stand. A decision will be made on splitting the South Stand for the Kilmarnock and Rangers game based on demand and sales in the coming week."

Translation: If you sell out the next two games, we'll cut Rangers' allocation in half. Get to it lads.

Just got 2 at the back of the famous 5! Hard to get 2 together anywhere, although I did it quickly on the phone so a more thorough search might reveal more. Buzzing for this one now!

three up the back of section 44 in the East. I reckon we could see this full up by end of tomorrow.

Love the way the Club is being run just now. The Huns will get a quarter of the away end just like the Championship game a few years back. Brilliant:cb

The sooner the home tickets for the huns game go on sale the better then. If the home stands are sold out 3 weeks before the game we start putting Hibs fans in the south.

All three games will easily sell out in our home ends .
Give The Rangers the two end top and bottom sections of the South .
19000 v 800 . Better percentage than what they give us at Greyskull 50000 v900

They always do.

I just want a club 1872 statement, think that’s what we need to focus on trying to achieve here.

All the less to batter when both sets of supporters invade the pitch at the full time whistle.

Bring it on.

It would be brilliant if we go into that match knowing that a win would guarantee second, or at least finishing above them.

Shame we're giving Celtic the full stand but I can understand the reasons given. Hopefully the club will have no option but to cut the allocation given to Rangers.

And what could the Huns forums say? “How dare Hibs only give us 1500 tickets in their 20k seater stadium when we give them SO much of our stadium?” [emoji23]

You can’t buy tickets for the Kilie and Rangers game yet, so how are they going to drive sales?

Surely they can start selling tickets for the three "home" ends against Killie and Sevco now?

My thoughts too, but Celtic should sell out early next eeek, presume they’ll put them on sale then
Might be too much for the TO to deal with in such a short period of time, in my opinion!

Tickets for the other stand against the huns should go on sale Monday. That way if we lose next couple of games and the appetite dwindles the stand will still get open to us.

I expect they'll put the Killie tickets on sale next and, if we sell 18,000 for that one, we'll get the same for the Blue Bigots match.

Agreed.
Here’s my “glass half empty” reasonining.
Put all 3 games on sale now, especially the Huns game, before there’s a chance of results going against us in the lead up to the last 2 home games.
If Celtic were to beat us and The Rangers and Aberdeen were to win their first post split games, the gap widens and our quest to reach 2nd/3rd becomes that bit more difficult. That could put folk off buying tickets. Of course the reverse scenario would be in our favour (Killie win against Aberdeen aside as that keeps them on our coat tails), so early sale of Killie & The Rangers tickets likely to be more attractive as things stand now, rather than waiting for the first round of games.

It’s a very fine line decision the club have to make. Do they risk leaving putting them on sale whilst demand is higher (i.e. now) or wait to see how those first results pan out? I’d take the risk by putting them on sale early. Get the money in the coffers. Rather than wait and risk not selling out.

I’m in your camp as I’m a negative bassa 😀 it’s actually a brilliant situation to be in going into the he split. What a difference a couple of years makes.

Oh and I thought it would be irrelevant as they were gonna boycott us anyway [emoji849]

In many ways isnt it great some of us are worrying about getting tickets for home games. I think (even relatively recent visitors like me) can remember rattling around Easter road with a few thousand in it. We had lengthy debates on here about the value of a Scottish cup win against promotion. I was always on the side of winning the cup. That and Leeann Dempster and the hard work of George Craig and co have totally transformed this club.

When two of the three will sell out, and the other will be all but sold out it would be a really daft idea to lose the club money.

The days of needing to drum up an attendance because we're struggling are in the past. All three games will sell out on their own without any marketing gimmicks.

If we want to limit the Huns to a small allocation, it’s in the Hibs fans hands now,

We get a sectarian lecture on the tannoy before every home game.

Pity this doesn't seem to apply to their fans website.

Does anyone ever monitor the bile spewed out relentlessly or is sectarianism expressed on a fans forum exempt from prosecution?

Indeed. I live abroad now but I used to live in England and could always pop up and be confident of getting a ticket. Now I worry I won't get a ticket when I am home in December!

Luckily I am a member of the HDNMEUFSCCBM so The Don will sort me out.

Having read that, my ideal scenario is them to get severely humped today. We then play them and knock them into 4th when we play them last game of the league and they have to watch and pray celtc win the cup so they get into Europe, only for 'well to score in the 92nd minute to win the cup. :greengrin

Absolutely 100% reduce their allocation.

There is a very good chance we'll still be battling for a European spot and a win in this game could be the difference.

I think we'd sell our allocation out no bother but even if we don't, we should be doing whatever we can to give ourselves an advantage and the less away fans the better.
