Not sure Pal but Levein has claimed Hearts were robbed and Club 1872 are due to release a statement. Wallace has reported the penalty incident to the local police and Hibs fans will be blamed for everything.

Not really fighting for the golden boot as that’s done and dusted. But he scored the goal and was correct to appeal. A striker who isn’t goal hungry is of little use to anybody.

Agree with that to an extent but did he not follow it up by saying it was a team game and all that matters is that they won.

I actually like Kane and do agree with the comments above about wanting a goal hungry striker but that's just a bit too much for me.....

At best it flicks his shirt and he puts the keeper off.

Taken directly from the FF website:

While the second Spurs goal v Stoke City has now been awarded to Harry Kane after review, this will not be reassigned in FPL in accordance with the game rules and therefore points will not be modified.

Disagree. He scored 2 hattricks in the last 2 games to take the golden boot last year and is more than capable of retaining it if he gets a few doubles in the next run of games

I wouldn't worry mate, there is no consistency in the awarding of goals which was clearly evident by the initial award and then successful appeal. It's not as clear cut as folk are trying to make out on here.

It's an accepted part of trying to score that a keeper may try to stop the ball going in. In fact, the same applies to a defender.

The only time they will be credited with an own goal is when their action is judged to have caused the goal e.g. by deflecting it past the keeper's keft when is already diving to his right.

Any intervention by an attacking player as the ball goes towards goal and they are credited with the last touch.

Exactly the same applies when it comes to corners v goal kicks and throw ins. The lightest touch and it's the opponents' ball.

Would paragraph 2 be an own goal? My interpretation was that it was only an own goal if it wasn't "on target" prior to the defenders touch.
