According to Ranger Media Neil Lennon makes all the decisions. Now he's finished drawing up the fixtures he can rationally rationalise the Rationalisation thread.

Would that be before or after any rationalisation? Because I'm not sure if we've had one yet :dunno:

Current league set up re utilising the split is a farce.

There is nothing fair in the fact that one team has more home games than another over the course of a season.

At the end of the day it's all about revenue for clubs and a team having more home games has an unfair advantage.

A straight home/away (x2) works in pretty much every league elsewhere so why does our tinpot outfit of a league have to be different?

At Falkirk it's imitation Bovril and referred to as "Meat based drink" IIRC.

It's not different.

There are many leagues with splits, several are far more imbalanced than ours.

There are 456 games played in the Scottish Premiership.

To put it even more in perspective, occasionally, 2 games don't fit the 2 home 2 away structure.

We've missed out on a home game before (I think), as have Rangers.

Split should be done away with.

League to me means each team plays each other home ans away. Team with most points wins.

What could be simpler than that?

Invent other competitions by all means but have the league as the centrepiece as described above.

Ian Cathro is developing an algorithm for next seasons split. I believe part of his severance package was the hearts laptop.

Rationalisation was a nightmare. Powdered egg and restricted sugar intake.

I remember when all this was just trees.

It would be financially possible to do that if we had a 10 team league.

When we tried it before, people thought it was boring and crowds were falling.

Hearts have ‘soccer orientated aerodynamics’ instead of ‘football’ on their ST’s now.
