*2017/18 = P33 W16 D11 L6 Pts 59 GD +14 (00/01 season = 61 Pts GD +27)*

In 13 seasons between 01/02 & Butcher's cursed reign, our comparative pre-split records were as follows:


2004/05 = P33 W17 D5 L11 Pts 56 GD +6
2005/06 = P33 W16 D4 L13 Pts 52 GD +11
2007/08 = P33 W14 D8 L11 Pts 50 GD +9
2009/10 = P33 W14 D8 L11 Pts 50 GD +4
2006/07 = P33 W12 D8 L13 Pts 44 GD +12
2008/09 = P33 W10 D12 L11 Pts 42 GD -3
2012/13 = P33 W10 D10 L13 Pts 40 GD -7
2002/03 = P33 W11 D6 L16 Pts 39 GD -12
2003/04 = P33 W9 D11 L13 Pts 38 GD -15

I can't wait for the split now, so effing excited!

If we can finish the season either in 2nd or 3rd place (Sevco 4th ideally :wink: ) & secure 67 points, it would statistically outline our club's best league season since 1974/75... 43 years ago!

In that season Turnbull's men finished runners up, one place behind the huns who stopped Jock Stein's legendary Lisbon Lions from winning 10IAR. What a feat that would be!

They're in points order, not chronological. I thought the same at first. :greengrin

Good achievement so far. Hopefully we can keep it going and get the required results post split - even just for 4th.

Hopefully, this will stop the usual doubters of Lennon next time we have a little blip. He’s doing an amazing job.

Was the split in place on 00/01?

It was the first year of the split when SPL increased from 10 to 12 teams.

We reached 29 points this season with a win at Partick Thistle on 2nd December.
