Well from back in the day (when it happened more often I guess) the recently late Jimmy Armfield Blackpool, played over 600 league and cup games as well as captaining England.

Willie Miller was a forward loaned to Peterhead and scored something like 26 goals came back converted to defence and the rest is history... source: Wikipedia.

Hanlon played on loan at St Johnstone so he's technically not a one club man.

But he was a Hibs player so as far as I'm concerned the loan spell doesn't count.

Jesus, what a post
Technically nothing. Paul was a Hibs player, paid by Hibs to go on loan for his and our development

He had a short spell at Walford Rovers after falling out with players before returning to Melchester a couple of months later.

I'm not saying he wasn't but a one club man is exactly that - a man who's only played for one club.

It doesn't make him any less of a legend or lessen his Hibs credentials if that's the reason for you getting annoyed at my post. It's just a fact.

There are plenty of references to such a term online and all of them I've come across have agreed with my definition by excluding anyone who has played for more than one club.
