Living legend, love big Paul

Wonder if he'll end up spending his whole career at Hibs? Same goes for lewie of course.

Probably unlikely as players of their calibre tend to want to carry on playing once their ability diminishes but the fact that we can imagine it at this stage of their careers is something else

To have two potential 1 club men playing for Hibs at the same time is wonderful, this Hibs team is ridiculously likeable as a fan

Edit: just realised he was loaned to st Johnstone so wouldn't technically be a 1 club man :(

I also wonder if it's because clubs have been enquiring :cb

Delighted for him, best centre half in the league at the moment :agree: doesn't have to wear a gum shield or hoof a ball until there is snow on it either :greengrin:aok:

Anyone who thinks Jack Hendry (or Berra) are the answer to Scotland's centre half problem needs their collective heads examined TC :agree:

A proper pro and with the newborn hopefully it gives paul and his family peace of mind and means that paul can fully concentrate on football
Paul and Lewis are underestimated due to their loyalty but few clubs can have or wish for better servants to that I am grateful to you both 👏

After his pass for Kamberi's third on Tuesday, brought to mind that he was potentially worth a fair bit of money now. Even before this contract.

Have to say in some ways relegation was the making of him, I wasn't his biggest fan in years gone by but he's tremendous now and has strolled the top flight in the first season back.

Hard to believe he's only 28 given how long he's been in and about the squad.

Might be wrong but I think he went to tynecastle primary?

Always thought it was brilliant that he scored that equaliser in the 2-2 derby just a matter of metres from where he went to school

He has always been a quality player but an increase in physicality over the past 3-4 years has really started to make him stand out. He will never be as strong as McGregor but he is now able to bully opponents and win his headers with more ease, he used to be bullied but that's now a thing of the past. Great stuff.

Hope this is an indication of the approach the club is taking and the drastic change at the club. I hope we give players like Vykintas Slivka time and invest in their development rather than get rid of them after a poor 6 months etc. I remember a time when we'd have offloaded Boyle because of a bad run, I think there was a rumour in the past that Hanlon may have left us for free because we weren't going to renew his contract (may be wrong).

More new contracts for existing players would be great!
For potential signings, I hope we are looking at players like Glen Kamara!

Well done Paul, you've clearly put a lot of effort in to your game over the last 4 years and should be clear candidate for Club Captain next season.
