A good wee piece on Sky Sports catch up about Lewis ahead of his 400th appearance tomorrow 💚

Come the end of next season Lewis will be in the top 10 all time appearance chart for Hibs, Shades is No10 with 434. He is a Hibs legend and when I am old I will be able to say I watched his whole career at Hibs.

Edit: When I am older, I am already old

I hope he makes it to 500, at the least.

He is Mr Hibs.

I hope Lewis' 400th appearance goes better than his 300th (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35592899).

If you factor in pre season friendly he's probably closer to 450!

I just took it from here, there is no split between league and cup games

It’s a shame it hasn’t fallen on a home game, I like to get the programme when it’s all about him :greengrin

Scottish cup and league cup winners medals and 400 appearances. Wow. The best complement i can give Lewis is that every manager we've had has picked him and they know the game better than us. Stevenson is a Hibs legend. Forever in my gratitude.

I've come to realise what an absolute gem he is, as a player and person. Never a wiff of bad publicity or scandal.

The attitude. The workrate. The pride he takes in playing for the club. The Championship winners medal. The memories, good and bad. The money he's given to local charities and the kids he's inspired to want to play for the green and white. The cup winners medals - both of them. Each and every of the 400 games he's played in. The records he's broken, the celebrations he's sparked on each rare occasion he's scored a goal and the humility he's had to stick with us through thick and thin.

One of the greatest ever representatives of our club since 1875.

After the Hanlon news, Can we have a 10 year - do anything you want - deal for Lewis??

That’s simply it. He just does the job he’s meant to do and goes about his business quietly. You don’t survive so many managers at one club unless you have something that will keep the team improving. When Lewis finally goes we will then see what a player he was for us.

He’s just solid and gives you his all every single week no matter what.

Unbelievable no of games for one club these days. Never hid in any game. Just don't give him the captaincy today, don't need a repeat of that game...

I was really taken by his comments about the 1 yr deals and the difference getting 2 yrs meant to his confidence. More than most, I can see this being a big thing for someone like him.
We've all kicked a ball about, whether competitively or 5 a sides and had times when we are nervous or lacking in confidence and probably also had the opposite and felt really good (it happened once to me I'm sure 😂 !!!!) and what a difference it makes to how you feel and play in a game.
His professionalism can't be questioned and his love for the club is not in doubt. Here's to the next 100.

Congratulations on another landmark to Lewis.

Just another stop on the journey to being one of the greatest ever Hibees.

Saw a 2007 replay the other day. He looked about 14 years old!!

the time that hurt him most was when the comments flew at him from every direction. this did dent his confidence and a lesser person would have crumbled under it. Some of the critisism was so personal and a few on here had to eat humble pie.

its through his tenacity and love for our club that has got him through these horrible times.

As you have said already he is professional in every aspect of how a professional footballer should be and he is an inspiration to young and old together.

How we are going to replace him is a worry really there may be better players in that postion but they havent got it all like lewie1

Assuming three more seasons here, Stevenson should be at #4. However at age 30 I'd be surprised if he's a regular here for the five or six seasons necessary to catch the top three.

Still very impressive and confirms him as a legend.

He's saving it all up, you know. When he retires at 42, soon after lifting yet another Scottish Cup, he'll be arrested for punching a cop after a drink-and-drug-fuelled joyride running over kittens in a stolen Porsche full of prostitutes. And well deserved too. Except the kittens. Won't somebody think of the kittens?

Yep big gap between 3rd & 4th as you say.
500 a nice big round number for him to aim at 👍

He's just hit 100 appearances in just over 2 years with his 300th appearance coming in February 2016 against Morton. If he continues at that sort of ratio, he'll be at 600 appearances by the time he's 34.

I would say that's very achievable.
