Ray Wilkins was a top player who performed at the highest level in the game. He didn't seem to get the respect that he merited, because of that, in his time here, probably because of his allegiance to Rangers.
He was 40 years old but you could see how good a player he was.
Rest in peace Butch.

I always thought Ray and Murdo were much the same at Hibs both past their best but you could see they could play. Neither lost the ball very often maybe only short passes but both could keep the ball. Obviously Murdo was more successful at Hibs but similar to Ray imho. I Can't believe he only played 17 games my memory is shot :greengrin.
