Looking good, let's hope we can keep it up for 6 more matches. If the form table over the last 6 matches was replicated over the next 6 then we'd finish 2nd on goal difference, though I get that they'll be tougher matches and we'll probably have only 2 more at home.

Must be incredibly frustrating to be Killie. They have had the run of their lives and haven’t made any headway towards 4th

Those are impressive stats, and seeing our boys top of the pile is wonderful.

What does the last column with the percentage figure mean?

What does the last column with the percentage figure mean?

% of games with over 2.5 goals. :dunno:

Good question, don't know the answer. It was taken from http://www.soccerstats.com/formtable.asp?league=scotland

There's the red and blue colour coding too, with all 50 percents being black.

Exactly this.

Agreed - We are still 4th - but our situation has changed - if the Sheep had drawn last night 2nd place was ‘in our own hands’

The goals against column is most pleasing.

Current form table gives us all a great degree of optimism for the post split outcome.
However, when it comes to supporting Hibs, after 55 years following the club through thick and thin, I am what they call “a glass half empty “ punter.

To throw a bit of realism into the equation, here’s some historical info that may have a bearing on how the end of the season pans out. I’ve posted these numbers in other threads but, you know, we never thought we’d see the outcome of 21/5/16, so who knows - maybe our time has come to buck a trend.

Done a bit of homework. We have played post split for 14 out of 17 seasons.

6 of these in Top 6, 8 in the bottom 6.

My memory of winning all 5 one season was close. 2002/2003 - Won 4, Lost 1 (Bottom 6)

Since the split was introduced in 2000/2001 season our overall record is:

Played - 70; Won - 19; Drawn - 17; Lost - 34

I've also got 50+ years supporting Hibs and was also a 'glass half empty' punter but I've been won over, I now genuinely believe that Lennon has eradicated/erased/wiped-oot/blootered etc the 'Business 1st - Football 2nd' ethos at ER that saw us stagnate over far too long a time - he's put the 'Hibs' back into Hibs and I can honestly see that old 'Trend' getting well and truly bucked !.

We've been on a great run and yes, of course we could beat any and all of the top six teams on our day but these will all be difficult games and take a lot out of the guys. Just take one game at a time.

I'm proud of the season we've had so far, I'm sure they'll keep fighting until the last game but if we finish 4th, still a good season.

Just shows how bad they were until Clarke took over. Their form since he took over would have had them challenging Celtic if he had been there since the start of the season.
