This ball was donated unintentionally a player with diabolical shooting ability during the Maribor away game.:greengrin Another well kent poster "rescued" it from the stratosphere and gave it to me to smuggle back into the UK. I'm sure he'll confirm this in due course. Obviously, I never gave it back to the original t̶h̶i̶e̶f̶ owner. :greengrin
As you see, it's signed by our legendary, cup winning centre half, Paul Hanlon, who played in that game. He signed it for me when I lived across the road from him in Clerwood (It says Paul Hanlon 4).
It really is a brilliant keepsake, particularly as it's Paul's testimonial year and he scored on Saturday, but it's been sitting in a cupboard in my house for years so I thought that someone on here might welcome it into their memorabilia collection.
Rather than selling it privately, I thought that the Dnipro charity would make better use of the proceeds and the above mentioned poster agrees, so it's up for auction.
