Might be a bit inaccurate, as I’m sure Porteous and Murray have signed new contracts with us.

Anyone worth a punt for next season?

If it’s accurate the ones I’d be looking at (assuming no development fee but I know some will apply)

Dylan McGeouch: Simple. Pay him what he wants.
David Bates: Decent young laddie.
Jason Naismith: Again a decent young right back, somewhere we may look to bolster with a young player.
Michael Gardyne: Hot n cold but on his day can cause issues. Pace to burn too.
Ali Crawford: Lord forbid we need to replace members of that midfield we could do worse than him.

After that I don’t know much more other than some of them will be out of contract for a reason.

There's absolutely no way we should be looking to sign Michael Gardyne.

I think you’re right. I just realised he’s 32! He always seemed to be half decent when he played against us but his record isn’t exactly glittering upon a second glance.

Aside from retaining our key players, wouldn't mind Templeton and Crawford from Hamilton, and either Bain for keeper depth or Rogers from Aberdeen. I'm sure bain will have a few suitors. Not too many great players from that list to be honest.

I’d definitely have Youssouf Mulumbu, although he’ll either go to the Old Firm or some Championship team.

I reckon he'll stay at Killie. Playing well for them, but close to retirement.

Porteous definitely signed a new long term deal with us. Think it’s the second time recently the media have printed he’s out of contract in the summer because some on line site has him like that.

Edit: found this with a quick google, shame the journalist couldn’t do the same!!

Don't see that happening. Bordeaux wanted him in January so I imagine he'll be away in the summer

That was over a year ago and says nothing about the length of contract either offered or signed, I found this yesterday but can find nothing reporting new contracts or even the length of their contracts now.

If they go down, will be able to start afresh

Jason Naismith gets lots of praise. Some English teams were looking at him in Jan.

Don’t know much about him myself but based on links down south and good reviews, he might be worth speaking to.

I think the Hearts keeper McLaughlin is a good keeper, and a Hibbee too. Other than that I'm quite happy with what we've got, although we do have 1 or 2 loan deals, it'd be good to keep them if at all possible.

He’s going back down South.

I really hope we can keep hold of Barker.

Was I the only one that thought a bizarre law meant every player was out of contract as opposed the the full list of those that were? 😂😂😂😂😂

Likewise. Not sure how likely it is but he has the potential to be an outstanding player. He’d be much better served for his career staying up here with us than going down south and ending up at an Oxford or Milwall etc. Maybe not financially mind you.

Seen him a few times different games, I said that he was one I would have liked us bring in in January or get a pre.contract on consistent, likes getting forward and decent.defender, will have other suitors I suspect.
