With livvi and Dundee United drawing, looks like St Mirren will have won the Champioship today
11 points ahead of Livvi, game in hand, and only 7 to play
Technically they only need 11 points, but it’s as good as over now

Quite sad how far Dundee utd have fallen..Not so long ago they were winning scottish cups , Reaching the latter stages of cup competitions and in Europe with an absolute abundance of talent now they are brutally bang average that imo will be stuck in that league for a good few years

Don't mind St Mirren. Was very impressed with them last season and they continually break Jambo Hearts which is nice. Happy to see them back.

They've always been a miniature Jambo side for me going back to the Potter days and then full blown Jambo mentality hit when Houston and co managed them.

Have to feel for Brechin - relegated today, 4 points all season and not one win...they are dire though.

Fancy it'll be Livingston, Dundee United and Morton in the playoffs. Livingston have been a superb side this year and I fancy they'll probably make the playoff final.

My mate and I went down to Berwick to watch them play Edinburgh City. Quality was poor and it was easy to see why both clubs are near the foot of League 2.

The saddest thing of all was watching Farid lumbering about the park. Clearly the football brain still works but the body just isn't up to it any more.

But they will have made plenty of money with some decent crowds and next season there is the potential for three local derbies so it is not all bad news.

Quite a few on here were loving it when fonts picked 32 as his squad number for Ross County, is it any different? Allan has 32 for us too though I'm sure that's just a coincidence. The fact RS had 51 really isn't as big a deal as some make it out to be.

Don’t believe that for one second. It won’t have been his idea but you could tell by his reaction he wasn’t that bothered. They could have changed it. In the end rat face looked like a complete prick with his love in at Tynecastle while his team were getting beat.

Of course you don’t, you don’t like Houston or Skacel so it’s understandable that you believe in an outcome that puts them in a negative light. Whether you believe it or not is neither here nor there, Houston had nothing to do with it as was raging about it.

Don’t they have that lad Belotti, who was a goal machine for Torino last season? Chelsea were in for him in the summer but Roman didn’t want to pay the £85M release clause that Torino demanded.

Not played that many games this year as he’s struggled with injuries

Really need to find a convincing striker from somewhere.

A fit Belotti, for me, is the best option. Immobile’s record is brilliant but I just think he lacks something, right at the top level.

Mario’s got more talent than both of those players combined and would be up there with Suarez or Lewandoski, if he had the same attitude and application as Ciro or Belotti. Such a waste.

Vardy and certainly Kane will be the difference for you guys, 2 forwards that can score more often than not and also be relied upon to do so. You’re not winning the thing but can see quarters or semis, draw dependant.

Italy will struggle to return to the top 3 or 4 sides again until they can discover a forward of similar ilk. It’s incredible the lack of real quality they have up top, given all the world class players they’ve had in my lifetime and previously.

You’re still wrong tonight, though. :greengrin

Spain will take some stopping in Russia.

Another bonus that they have the best keeper and centre back pairing at the tournament, too.

Think he is looking pretty rocky in the last few games, threw one in against Sevilla and also last night when he inexplicably let the ball go through his hands though the commentators seemed to think he had no chance . Maybe Jose's positive management style is having an effect. :greengrin

Can't stand Spain. ABS in the World Cup.

They are an amazing team and thought they looked excellent last night admittedly against a poor Argentina.

Blackburn 2 nil up over Bradford, and it was nice to see Mark Venus celebrate with Mowbray when they scored the 2nd goal.

Always had a lot of time for Venus, seemed a really nice guy. :top marks

Always thought it was weird he turned down the job when Mowbray left as he seemed to love it here.
