With their history, I wouldn’t put it past the hearts fans if it had been xenophobic abuse.

Who cares? He didn't have a save to make. Probably wanted something to do:flag:

Fair enough. The way the world is at the moment, it’s probably better having a fifty pee hurled at your heid than that type of verbal nonsense. Sticks and stones in reverse.

After booking Ricky, the ref picked something up and put it in his pocket. Looked like a coin

A lighter I think. He held it up- to present it almost. Signify it had been noted and will be in officials report.

Funny that they chucked all the flares they had before the first whistle. They knew they wouldn't get a chance otherwise.

Spoke to security guard chap after the game. He was the subject of missile throwing.

Someone threw the security guard at Rocky?

I happened to be watching the ball retrieval at this incident and saw exactly what happened.

Some relatively blobby jambo managed to get hold of the ball and was shouting abuse at Rocky at great length while keeping the ball. Rocky just stood patiently watching him and waiting. At the end of his rant the hoofballista threw the ball directly at Rocky trying to hit him with it. As the ball reached Ricky he connected nicely with it and booted it into the crowd.

No idea what the subnormal one was saying but I don't imagine it was affectionate.

Ref picked up the lighter and seemed to show it to the 4th official.

He should have handed it to Rocky so he could light the cigar he was smoking for the 90 minutes.

Shame he missed one of them and hit the stand roof. Can only imagine what he was having to put up with to result in him lashing out like that. Noticed a lighter being tossed at him just after the incident as well

Dear Rocky,

As you have seen already, Scotland is a wonderful country and a beautiful place to be with your wife and bring up your child.

Edinburgh is at the heart of such a beautiful country-rightly so, but unfortunately there is a minority of idiotic ars**oles in Edinburgh.

As you can see by the flares before the game, these moronic bigoted imbeciles belong to our friendly neighbours who take pride in their efforts as football fans.

As a non social media user I do like this....

Another derby match that he had no shots on target to deal with.

You should really always use a match for a cigar. He should keep one in his sock for derbies
