In case the lines are slightly obscured by snowmageddon, should have appointed one of the refs who's not too bothered about which side of it the ball's on when he makes his decision. Plenty to choose from.

We haven't had him so far this season.

We got him 4 times last season, 2 wins and 2 draws. No red cards in our games.

He has averaged around 4 bookings per game so far this season and approximately 1 red card every 2 games.

He's only refereed 24 top tier games before, and none of them involved Hibs. He does about 8 top-tier games a season, so that might explain why we've not come across him before.

Out of those 24 times, he's officiated Hamilton Accies and Partick Thistle 9 times each. Only 3 games haven't involved one of either Hamilton Accies, Partick Thistle, or St Johnstone. Don't ask me how the SFA allocates these things.

Aitken has dished out 19 yellows and 3 reds to Accies in those 9 games, which is at the higher end of the scale, both for Aitken and for Scottish refs in general.

Awful ref. Gave one of the most bent performances last season at east end park awarding a shocking pen when ball was blasted at Lewis. They are fairly lining them up at the moment.
